Interview Process: Consist of an screen linguistic technical test, Via Video Interview. 



Job Description

• Receiving work projects via a ticketing tool.  That ticket contains links to base linguistic data and associated instructions/guidelines.

• Linguists reviews the request, the data, the guide-lines, researches other associated exception guidelines, and any similar request in the past.

• The linguist will review text-strings, to recognise and correct text strings – which would have the appearance of Python code – they will run multiple, string quality batch files (with SSH, Unix commands)  These batch files compare the corrected text strings with pre-existing authentication data and rules.  If the corrected data does not authenticate, then errors are produced from the batch files. The linguist must interpret the errors and research and correct the anomalous text string.

• Because of the complexity of linguistics there may be a requirement to review text strings and authenticate multiple times.

• When the linguist has completed the task, then the specific language related contents is reviewed by a Language expert.

• When the Language expert approves the content, then a domain expert (e.g. smart home, automation, health) will review he content.

• When the Domain expert approves the content then the project owner accepts the content and it is added to the live production user environment.

 
Other details:

• Tasks can take up from 2 to 40 hours in duration, expanded from 5 days to 60 days – depending on the complexity and the number of iterations required to have successful text strings.

• Hours of operation are Monday to Friday

• Linguists are scheduled to work from 8.30 to 5pm.
