Job Profile
We are looking for an experience Assistant Project Manager (APM) that has many years of experience with Land Clearing and Development project. The Project Manager must have great IT skills and can interface seamlessly with the company office. The APM will help provide guidance on managing our site crew responsible for clearing and grubbing work. This working position that will be responsible for building schedule, milestones and managing performance of site activities. The APM will report directly to PM or Project Directors.
Crew performs Cut & Fill work, Detention ponds, Concrete flatworks and other related civil works.
Job Duties
- APM will lead meetings, read blueprint and determine schedule of the day.
- Knowledge of code requirements.
- Must be able to effectively communicate with others and professionally represent the company. APM must be able to galvanize team to achieve company goals, and provide leadership though example.
- Actively participate in company safety program. APM must exhibit a high level of safety consciousness and a clear understanding of equipment safety.
Qualifications
- Each candidate for the various roles must have 10 years Experience on various clearing and grubbing projects. The APM must have 10 years experience managing crews on such projects.
- Must be able to perform various IT-related task and use Microsoft office and proficient at many other software.
- Must have had experience with reading plans, planning, procuring materials, coordinating staff, working with owner representatives, and implementing a safe workplace.
- Must be able to communicate in English verbally and in written format.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $60,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
