Messina Group is assisting our client, a research company focusing on topically applied products for hand and skin diseases, disorders, syndromes, and conditions, with their search for a contract Research Lab Technician. In this role, you would be an important member of their small team of professionals working to isolate, purify, and evaluate islets.
Responsibilities
Utilize sterile technique in a clean room
Culture cells and work with reagents
Perform cell-based QC assays
Handle media changes
Inventory management
Maintain a laboratory notebook
Accurately execute protocols and SOPs
Position Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in science (Molecular or Cellular Biology preferred)
Protein gel electrophoresis and western blotting lab experience required
Maintain and demonstrate a positive work attitude and good habits
Adaptable to changing tasks and temporary contract work
Agreement to maintain confidentiality on all projects and programs
