Essential Duties Accounting:
- Assist in month end closing of books
- Quarterly calculation of producer formulas.
- Adjusting billing errors for premium and commission discrepancies.
- Receivables, payables, and/or general ledger duties such as preparing monthly statements, periodic statements, listing and checking details.
- Reconcile cash disbursements registers for month-end closings.
- Reconciliation of Company’s trial balance and general ledger.
- Regularly perform reconciliation on all bank accounts between the general ledger, bank statement and cash book.
- Prepare and record journal entries as needed for adjustments to general ledger accounts.
- Verify accuracy of invoices, check requests and expense reports including, but not limited to appropriate approval for payment.
- Provide management with reports as and when required.
- Review general ledger to ensure accuracy prior to month-end closing.
- Assist in developing and controlling internal accounting controls.
- Oversea and manage company real estate portfolio requirements.
Qualification Requirements:
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· College degree, preferred with an emphasis in accounting or finance.
· Has five years or more of insurance accounting or business related experience.
· Ability to use Microsoft Excel (Advanced) and Word (Advanced).
· Possess effective communication skills; ability to obtain information from others and deliver information to others orally and written.
· Possess effective time management skills.
· Possess ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously in a complex working environment accurately and efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
