Resla is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Operations to oversee and optimize our rental vehicle operations. This role involves strategic oversight of fleet management, branch operations, and customer service to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and exceptional service delivery across all locations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in operations management, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive performance improvements in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Fleet Management:
- Oversee the acquisition, maintenance, and utilization of the rental fleet to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce downtime and maximize fleet profitability.
- Branch Operations:
- Manage and standardize operations across multiple rental locations to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Develop and enforce operational policies and procedures to maintain high service standards.
- Financial Acumen:
- Prepare and manage budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement cost-control measures.
- Analyze financial reports and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and drive revenue growth.
- Strategic Planning:
- Assist leadership in developing and executing long-term operational strategies that align with the company's goals and market trends.
- Innovate and adapt to changing industry conditions and customer preferences.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure all locations comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Promote a culture of safety and implement protocols to protect employees and customers.

The Type of Background We're Searching For…
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Preferred successful leadership experience in start-up environment
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in operations management
- Proven experience in the rental vehicle or transportation industry is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent strategic planning, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and financial analysis.
