Proposal Writer

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Proposal Writer to join our team. As a Proposal Writer, you will be responsible for creating compelling and persuasive proposals that effectively communicate our company's capabilities and offerings to potential clients. This is a crucial role in our organization, as your writing will directly impact our ability to win new business.

Duties:

- Research and gather information about our company, products/services, and target audience

- Collaborate with subject matter experts to understand project requirements and develop proposal strategies

- Write, edit, and proofread proposals to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency

- Create visually appealing proposal documents using tools such as Microsoft Word and Visio

- Coordinate with internal teams to gather supporting documentation and data for proposals

- Meet proposal deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Review and analyze RFPs (Request for Proposals) to determine client needs and requirements

- Develop a deep understanding of our industry, competitors, and market trends

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Proposal Writer or similar role

- Excellent technical writing skills with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner

- Strong research skills to gather relevant information from various sources

- Must have some knowledge of the FAR

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word processing software

- Familiarity with Visio or other graphic design software is a plus

- Exceptional attention to detail and strong proofreading abilities

- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines

- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
