We are seeking heavy equipment operators to work on projects in the Portsmouth, Rhode Island area. Responsibilities include but are not limited to running and operating; excavators, lulls, skid steers, loaders and more.
$40 Depending on Experience and Work references

Position Responsibilities:
- Must be able to operator a variety of equipment such as: excavator, bulldozer, skid-steer, loader, lull etc. (not all Operators will be required to work with every piece of equipment, but applicants should be familiar with multiple)
- Ensure proper care while vehicles are in use and maintenance on all vehicles
- Responsible for safe slopes on excavations and proper barricading
- Locate utilities and other buried lines prior to digging.
- Maintain trenching and shoring standards to ensure proper safety standards are met.
- Regularly inspects and maintains equipment as required.
- Digs, spreads and levels dirt, gravel, or sand; and mixes, pours, and spreads concrete and asphalt using hand tools.
- Performs a variety of machine and non-machine tasks such as removing forms, placing pipe in trench, jack hammering and tapping.
- Promote workplace safety and environmental practices
- Perform other duties as required
Qualifications:
- Rhode Island Operating License
- Ability to work 40 hours a week
- Must have Reliable Transportation
- Strong references that will support your work history
- Trained in the use of material handling equipment
