Program Director

Salary Range: $105,000 -125,000 

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm  

The Resource Recovery Center of Orange County is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to those suffering from Alcohol and Substance Use Disorders. Substance Use Disorders are chronic illnesses, and treatment provided is based upon the presenting needs of the individual. Our goal is to help individuals and families begin the physical, emotional and spiritual healing process by utilizing compassionate, encouraging and evidence-based practices. We ultimately strive to guide individuals, and their families, towards a goal of living life to its full potential-free from addiction. 

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:   

The main function of the Program Director is the overall management of Programming, with the ability to facilitate systems and reports to measure the effectiveness of services provided for the best clinical and other measurable outcomes.  

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Recruit, hire and maintain a competent staff  

• Develop and maintain personnel policies  

• Schedule and assign staff functions  

• Plan staff development  

• Chair and/or serve on facility committees  

• Oversee evaluation and review process for employees under his direction  

• Maintain personnel records on all employees  

• Plan and develop the budget in coordination with the Chief Executive Officer  

• Assist the governing body in formulating policy by preparing the following items and presenting them to and reviewing the with the governing body:   

• Long-term and short-term plans for the facility  

• Reports describing the facility's operations  

• Reports evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of the facility's program including participation and recommendations for process improvement  

• Maintain written policy and procedure manual to include review and revision mechanisms and develop new policies and/or procedures as necessary  

• Address all patient and/or visitor complaints  

• Review all incident reports  

• Develop and maintain a therapeutic milieu  

• Act as a liaison with referral sources and/or agreed upon services  

• Ensure that all codes and regulations or regulatory and sponsoring bodies are met  

• Be available to, and for, all Board members, sponsoring agencies, staff and consumers.  

Qualifications:  

• Qualified health professional with LCSW, LMHC or LMSW required  

• Experience in administration at healthcare facility   

• At least eight (8) years of experience in the Substance Use Disorder field   

• Minimum two (2) years supervisory experience
