Job Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required 
• Post-secondary degree preferred 
• Bachelor’s degree in science field preferred/college coursework in chemistry is highly preferred. 
• Skilled in use of PC software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Experience with SAP, relevant ISO standards, and/or auditing preferred.
• Ability to work on multiple projects and priorities. 

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for microbiological testing of raw materials and finished goods.
• Responsible for reading plates and gram staining.
• Recording results and data into appropriate locations (SAP, MS EXCEL. etc.)
• Manage Micro lab inventory
• Reporting of issues and out of spec results to Plant hygiene manger and/or Quality manager
