Summary:
Set up and operate one or more CNC Controlled Milling Machines to shape work pieces per the supplied specifications, following standard charts and manuals, and applying knowledge of CNC Milling processes and methods. Must be a self-starter and have the ability to create NC programming and perform the manufacturing work required which includes making adjustments to machines when necessary to assure continually acceptable product.
*Mastercam, Partmaker or manual G-Code programming preferred
Primary Duties:
- Create Programs for the CNC Milling Machines
- Set Up and Operation of the CNC Milling Machines
- Inspect Component Characteristics to assure compliance with specifications on parts produced
- Order support items for the machine/machines
- Perform daily maintenance on the CNC Milling Machines and surrounding department area
- Assist the Direct of Milling/Programming as applicable
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of 5 years experience programming and running CNC Milling Centers
- Minimum of 5 years experience in blue print reading/drawing
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the use of Inspection Equipment
- Mastercam, Partmaker or manual G-Code programming preferred
- Working knowledge of geometric/algebraic equation calculation

Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
