Employbridge is looking for a Shipping Lead for our manufacturer in Tukwila, WA.
The shipping lead plays a crucial role in managing daily shipping operations, liaising with production teams to guarantee timely dispatch, and maintaining meticulous records.
Monday-Friday| 6:30am-3:00pm| $28/hr
Shipping Lead Responsibilities:
- Oversight of the shipping department to ensure efficient dispatch of goods.
- Facilitate coordination between production and warehouse teams.
- Uphold shipping procedures and protocols to comply with safety standards.
- Lead, mentor, and oversee shipping team.
- Plan and arrange shipments.
- Execute regular inventory checks.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to secure shipping materials and supplies.
- Add4ess and resolve shipping issues instituting corrective measures to prevent recurrences.
- Maintain an orderly, clean shipping area in accordance with OSHA and other safety regulations.

Qualifications/Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in shipping or logistics, with a minimum of 1 years in supervisory capacity.
- Comprehensive knowledge in shipping and receiving protocols.
- Proficient in shipping software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational, communitive and leadership skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
- Prior experience in manufacturing, within the plastic or packaging industry.
- Forklift certification and familiarity with warehouse management systems are preferred.
Salary : $28 - $33
