RHD is seeking a competent, self-motivated Program Director to become part of a team dedicated to providing quality services to adults with developmental disabilities.
The Program Director is responsible for ensuring the creation of an environment conducive to the provision of service for the individuals supported by the program, including providing supervision to ensure adherence to program regulations. The Program Director is held accountable for ensuring that the program is managed and held to the highest standards. This includes clinical quality, quality assurance, financial management, funder requirements, recruitment and retention, communications, compliance, revenue cycle, and general program operations. - Oversight of daily operations of four residential programs.
- Provide direction, training, and hands on support in maintaining compliance with DDS standards.
- Ensure that all consumers have current and appropriae ISP's or treatment plans in place, that their needs are met, and that they are being enabled to experience the hightest level of independence possible.
- Oversees and participates in the recruitment, hiring, training, evaluation and disciplinary process for all employees and ensure programs remain within budgets.
- The Program Director will oversee, support and work directly with the Residential Manager in each of the residential programs.
- This position includes quality monitoring of program sites, consumer records and finances.
- Participate in Agency Wide On Call. Hours may vary with on call 24/7 responsibilities.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 3 year's of experience in a human service agency, which included supervision of others, direct service and program planning.
- Must have working knowledge of DDS regulations, program and consumer budgets, supervision of multiple programs and staff.
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college with a major in human services or business management
- Valid Driver's License
- DDS Med Certification
RHD Connecticut provides residential community living arrangements, day services, and individual rehabilitative supports to people who have developmental disabilities in the West and South regions in Connecticut. Currently RHD CT operates 10 CLAs, Continuous Residential Support programs and supports individuals who reside in apartments in the community. RHD CT operates two day programs, one in the Western region and one in the Southern region of the State.
