Job Details
Requirement:
- Must have 5 or more years of working experience as a Cloud Database Engineer.
- Must have experience with NoSQL databases in Google Cloud Platform and/or AWS.
- Experience working with AWS DynamoDB, Google Cloud Platform Firestore and/or BigTable.
- Experience working with Cloud Database Management technology is a plus.
- Experience working with DBMS concepts such as ACID, CAP and consistency.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Design and optimize database schemas, tables, and indexes.
- Monitor database performance metrics and troubleshoot performance issues.
- Manage database security, including user authentication and access control.
- Plan and execute data migration projects between on-premises and cloud environments.
- Respond to database-related incidents and perform troubleshooting as needed.
- Document database configurations, procedures, and best practices.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends in cloud databases.
- Collaborate with cloud service providers and vendors to optimize database solutions.
