SHIFT- Days- 4x10 hrs- (0700-1730)- No Sundays
Every third weekend is on call 24/7 (will explain during interview)
*Dialysis Experience is required
*If census is low, will be utilized on the floor in 1:1s or will be downsized. (Will discuss during the interviews)
*Epic experience needed
*Nicotine-free facility – ALL FORMS OF NICOTINE – ASSIGNMENT WILL BE CANCELED & NOT ELIGIBLE FOR REHIRE FOR 12 MONTHS IF THERE IS A POSITIVE RESULT FOR ANY REASON
*Must be in commutable distance based on on-call requirements.
Under the general supervision of the Nurse Manager, provides nursing care to dialysis patients at the beginner practitioner level according to established procedures, protocols and regulations. Designs nursing care plans and assists in the development of the overall care plan for patients. Coordinates care planning with other disciplines. Works closely with other members of the health care team to ensure that appropriate overall care is administered in a manner conducive to effective maintenance of patient conditions. Provide emergent, lifesaving care during on call shifts. Schedules vary by hospital system. For this role expect to know your weekly schedule in advance, but your daily schedule may change depending on patient needs. Must be in commutable distance based on on-call requirements.
