Job description
Response Graphics & Embroidery, LLC is a full-service brand management company who provides quality branded products for a variety of industries. Our company is in need of an Embroidery Machine Operator/Production Assistant. The primary role of this employee would be to operate the embroidery machines but would also include learning how to vinyl cut and weed, heat press, engrave and sublimate. Other responsibilities will include assisting in maintaining warehouse stock, order fulfillment, unloading of product deliveries, staging products based on customer orders and organizing and maintaining existing inventory. Experience in the industry is a plus, but we are willing to train a candidate eager to learn.
Primary Responsibilities:
Review customer order specifications, secure materials needed to fulfill order and determine machine settings and adjustments based on product specifications.
Set up and adjust machinery to ensure quality customer order completion.
Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions and report or resolve problems.
Perform a quality check of completed items that includes checking for both quality and accuracy.
Clean and maintain machinery.
Communicate inventory needs to management.
Ensure that a clean and safe work environment is maintained.
Maintain a satisfactory rate of production.
Secondary Responsibilities:
Assist with incoming deliveries by checking product received against company purchase orders.
Assist the Warehouse Department to help maintain warehouse stock, including helping with daily cycle counts.
Assist in reviewing pull sheets based on customer orders and then pulling the right products for each order.
Other duties as assigned by the senior administration staff.
Desired Education and/or Skills:
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Ability to life loads of at least 50 pounds.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task.
Problem solving abilities and eagerness to learn.
Be able to stand, bend, reach and walk for duration of shift.
Have a proven track record of punctuality with minimal absenteeism.
Possess basic computer skills.
Artistic ability including any knowledge of Corel Draw or Adobe Illustrator would be a plus.

Experience:
Previous experience is preferred but training is available to candidate eager to learn.
