Summary:
Processing Coordinators perform data entry, interact with migrant detainees, and perform processing efforts in support of humanitarian efforts. They are responsible for maintaining the well-being of detainees outside of a secure complex, to include inventorying, tagging, and storing detainees' personal property for tracking purposes.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Comply with all applicable Government regulations, policies and procedures when visiting or working at Government facilities.
- Receive apprehended detainees.
- Store and track detainee personal property.
- Provide for detainee security and well-being while they are in CBP, (Customs & Border Patrol) custody.
- Perform roll calls of detainees.
- Perform data entry up to 8 hours per day.
- Draft and maintain administrative paperwork related to the processing of migrants.
- Draft and maintain reports concerning the transportation and deportation of detained migrants.
- Log information about detained migrants into DHS (Department of Homeland Security)/CBP information systems, including the status of welfare checks and conditions while in custody.
- Conduct roll calls.
- Perform duties related to care of those in custody.
- Transport detained migrants to immigration court proceedings and medical facilities.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED and three to five years data entry experience
- Experience working as part of a Team consisting at least 5 to 20 people
- Able to pass pre-employment and periodic background checks
- Must be a U.S. Citizen, residing in the U.S. with a valid U.S. driver license and able to complete SSBI (Single Scope Background Investigation) with CBP prior to reporting
- Fluent in Spanish and English, both verbal and written, must meet minimum testing requirements.
- Ability to utilize software solutions for data entry and analysis in addition to a proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites. Minimum typing speed of 35wpm at 95% accuracy. Must meet minimum testing requirements.
- Must be able to work any/all shifts, including nights, weekend, and holidays to support 24/7 operation.
- Must be willing to submit up to a LEVEL V background and/or security investigation with fingerprints. Job offers are contingent on background /security investigation results.
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Pay: $25.00 per/hr
