Job Summary
The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented, energetic, flexible, and willing to take on non-routine cleaning and special projects as the need arises. The Facility Manager will be responsible for the general property upkeep including cleaning, sanitizing, repairing, building, and maintaining areas in and surrounding the facility. The Facility Manager fulfills general repairs and routine maintenance on building systems. Tasks require building repair, landscaping, and cleaning expertise. Additionally, a Facility Manager must schedule, delegate tasks, and team-lead to execute job duties as assigned, reporting to the General Manager and Back-of-House Manager.
Responsibilities
- Follows all company policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook and the “General Policies and Procedures”.
- Follows all work safety procedures including reporting to the manager of any on-property injury, potential work hazards, or damage of property.
- Maintain outside grounds as well as the cleanliness and functionality of company furniture, fixtures, decor, and equipment as needed.
- Water all indoor and outdoor plants
- Clean HVAC/Exhaust units and both sides of upper and lower patio railing of debris.
- Take out and empty trash.
- Change light bulbs.
- Pressure wash stairs, mats, walk areas, etc.
- Clean assigned floors accordingly by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, steaming, and buffing.
- Clean and disinfect bathrooms, restocking paper goods, and disposing of trash.
- Dust and wipe down all surfaces including shelving, countertops, fans, decor, electronics, mirrors, etc.
- Gather soiled laundry and prepare it for pick up accordingly.
- Touch up paint and clean walls.
- Maintain and clean proper signage.
- Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces such as doorknobs, handles, and light switches.
- Wash and maintain the cleanliness of windows including the screens, glass, and sills.
- Handle and be knowledgeable of the hazards and proper usage of the cleaning chemicals, solutions, personal protective equipment, tools, and other company equipment used.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Must be able to read and communicate in English clearly and effectively.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly, throughout the shift.
- Must demonstrate enthusiasm and commitment to guest and management satisfaction.
- Must be able to work flexible hours including late and early hours, weekends, and/or holidays.
- Must be efficient and accurate with money and figures.
- Must possess manual ability to manipulate the POS system.
- Must be able to lift, stoop, bend, and crawl.
- Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for the duration of a scheduled shift.
