What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Admin position at Restaurant Group?
Our company of multi-unit quick service restaurants is seeking an exceptional candidate to join our office team! We are looking for an Office Admin who is detail-oriented, has a great attitude, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support for President and Operations team (includes data entry, light bookkeeping, answering the phone, sending emails, payroll, maintaining an organized office, etc.)
- Follow & improve organizational systems and procedures
-Organizing and maintaining physical and electronic files, including scanning, photocopying, and shredding documents as needed
-Maintaining employee records and HR databases, processing employee changes (e.g., promotions, transfers, terminations), managing time and attendance systems, and preparing HR reports
- Handle incoming telephone calls and respond to requests for information from customers
-Conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and legal requirements
-Ensure that employee records, including pay rates, direct deposit information, work permits etc are kept up-to-date
-Responsible for monitoring and verifying employee work hours, leave, absences, and sick hours
-Handle employee inquiries or concerns related to HR matters
-Manage the facilitation of onboarding hiring and exit processes
- Other miscellaneous tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Microsoft Office experience required; QuickBooks Desktop experience preferred
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented, punctual, reliable and possess both speed and accuracy when performing tasks. Candidate must also be a self-starter who can work independently with excellent judgement and common sense.
- Possess a strong level of discretion and integrity to manage confidential information
- Must possess a positive attitude and a willingness to grow.
