What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispatcher position at Restoration 1 of Central Denver?
As a Dispatcher at Restoration 1, you will manage our customer support lines to understand the customer's needs, prioritize the urgency of the need, and assign technicians to address the client's needs.
Job Responsibilities: • Answer customer calls to understand the water, fire, mold, or sewage issues inside their home or business. • Communicate to customer what may be needed and why • Schedule's technicians to address customer needs. • Provides a timeframe for customers to expect a technician visit. • Ensures customer needs are addressed in a timely and professional manner. • Keeps detailed records of customer calls and dispatching support tasks including job tags, concerns that have been or still need to be addressed
- Answer all incoming calls, field to office staff as needed
- hours 8:00-5:00 M-F, 2 weekends a month taking any after hours calls
- Assisting management with other needs including collections calls, creating of customer marketing folders and more.
Minimum Requirements: • 1 year Dispatcher/Customer Service experience in a trade industry
• You must have the ability to engage with and actively listen to customers. • Ability to work on weekends, 2 weekends a month taking calls remotely
• Proficiency in basic communication technologies (i.e. phones, computers, etc.). • Ability to work independently to complete tasks, sometimes you are the only one in the office
- MUST pass background check prior to hire.
