Position Description: POSITION GOALS
The Marketing and Outreach Coordinator will lead all marketing, social media marketing, outreach event marketing/planning, and design efforts for the agency. This position will collaborate closely with the executive team to promote the Restore brand to future students, supporters, and employers and foster communication and awareness among Restore staff, students, board members, and volunteers.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university. Masters degree preferred.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in marketing, communications, public relations.
  • Advanced computer, Microsoft Office, and Internet experience required.
  • Experience planning and executing events.
  • Graphic design experience strongly preferred.
  • Video editing capacity is preferred
  • Social media planning and writing experience.
  • Experience with website and social media platforms as both creator and ad manager.
  • Experience designing eye-catching and contemporary graphics and digital content.
  • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
  • Experience copywriting preferred.
  • Experience with campaign marketing.
  • Must be able to work evening and weekend hours when needed.
  • Valid Texas Driver License and Insurance required.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • As a master of storytelling, the candidate establishes a positive and welcoming atmosphere for community members, volunteers, and stakeholders.
  • Oversees ambassador program, and trains Restores board, staff, and volunteers so they are comfortable delivering a Restore elevator speech and are familiar speaking about Restores programs and answering FAQs.
  • Develop and execute content strategies for all programs, projects, and campaigns.
  • Create annual social media content calendar, aligned to company strategy and communication guidelines. Identify and implement new digital content approaches and platforms that will lead long-term strategy.
  • Work closely with staff to develop ideas, plan, and generate content alongside their ongoing work.
  • Conceptualize, schedule, coordinate, and execute all promotional content for social media.
  • Design all marketing materials for all programs including but not limited to all posters, flyers, ads, and images for website use.
  • Create all video pieces as needed for production, marketing, and advancement.
  • Obtain content and create design for email marketing.
  • Maintain look and feel of agency brand in all designs.
  • Coordinate and attend outreach and recruitment events and speak on behalf of the agency.
  • Support the development team in event planning and promotions.
  • Attend required staff development and training sessions as required.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with program management for marketing support.
  • Some travel required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
SCHEDULE: Monday Thursday from 9am-6pm; Friday from 9am-2pm (Some evenings and Saturdays as required)

Compensation Range: $45,000-55,000 and dependent on experience and education.

BENEFITS: 100% employer-covered health, vision, and dental and employer-covered life, plus affordable auxiliary plans and generous PTO policy.

  • This position is grant funded. Although the grant is expected to end, additional funding might be obtained to extend grant beyond the end date. If that would occur, your employment under the grant might also be extended. However, all employment is considered to be at will and may be terminated by you or the agency at any time regardless of the end date of the grant.
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES
Must possess a valid Class C Texas Drivers License or obtain a valid Class C Texas Drivers License within thirty (30) days after becoming a resident of the State of Texas.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
Physical requirements include visual acuity, speech and hearing, hand and eye coordination and manual dexterity necessary to operate a computer keyboard and basic office equipment. Subject to sitting, standing, bending, twisting, and walking to perform the essential functions. Some travel required.
