Job Posting for Childcare Floater at Resurrection Lutheran School and Child Care
- Provide supervision and leadership to children on shift.
- Work in Christian harmony with the School Director, fellow co-workers, and teachers, Pastor, and members of the RLS School Board.
- Ensure that the school and child care equipment are safe and in good operational condition.
- Continue professional development in accordance with the school/child care policy and Virginia State Licensing requirements.
- Report directly to the School Director.
- Be responsible for the playground, hallways, lunchroom, and other supervision, as the School Director assigns it.
- Attend all staff meetings.
- During the school year, be responsible for assisting children embarking/disembarking from the public school buses upon their arrival and departure at RLS.
- Monitor children during nap times and snack times.
- Follow a cleaning routine throughout the shift that keeps all of the interactive areas sanitary and safe.
- Monitor children during outdoor activities and interact with the children to enhance their child care experience.
- Work with teachers or leads to maintain communication with parents and contact parents in emergencies.
Child Care experience is preferred.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
