COMPANY OVERVIEW
Retail Channel Partners (RCP) provides investment, consulting, management and operational services to start and grow profitable businesses in the consumer technology products and services industry supporting retail, franchise and service-based businesses. RCP is the current franchisor for the ZAGG Franchise business with locations in the U.S. & Canada and also manages the sales and warranty of mobile phone products and accessories in the retail repair channel. RCP also owns and operates multiple Express Tech locations which are authorized Apple Premier Partner locations in Utah and Oregon.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Controller is responsible for all accounting and finance operations for the company. The Controller manages the overall production and management of financial reports, budgets, banking relationships, cash management, bank reconciliation, merchant services reconciliation, inventory management, accounts receivable, month-end close and the annual audit. The Controller is a member of the leadership team of the business and reports to the CEO of RCP. The Controller will also work closely with the CFO of the parent company of RCP and with other key members of the management team.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and improve current accounting standards & processes
- Manage the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close for the company
- Prepare and manage financial budgets
- Manage the banking, cash management and merchant services functions
- Identify and manage business risk and strategic business decisions
- Work closely with external audit partners for Franchise compliance
- Work closely with the internal operations team for inventory management
- Work closely with the RCP leadership team to collect, interpret and report on key financial data
SKILLS

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- MBA or MAcc preferred
- Minimum 5-10 years’ experience in accounting/finance
- Experience in financial accounting ERP software (Oracle NetSuite preferred)
- Experience in working with multiple legal entities
- Multi-unit management experience preferred
- Retail sales and inventory management experience preferred

● EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent work experience required
● LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, write, type, and verbally communicate effectively and professionally with other business departments, guests, and vendors. Ability to diplomatically deal with difficult situations and people, while exhibiting a consistent level of professionalism.
● PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for 1-2 hours at a time. They must have the ability to stand 1 hour at a time. Must have the ability to type, reach, manipulate computer and phone systems, handle or feel objects and must have the ability to use the telephone (both with verbal and written communication). The employee frequently is required to use hands to manipulate, handle or feel objects and phones. The employee must be able to lift 30-50 lbs. Must have visual acuity for color and fine detail. Must have the ability to travel in the US.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
