Retail Data Systems is looking for a passionate and driven grocery store POS systems Training & Implementation Specialist to join our New England area team. This position delivers a key function by providing excellent training and implementation support to our expanding customer base. The process starts by conducting training for various POS products at customer sites, coordinating a successful implementation, and providing onsite support coverage to ensure our customers receive top notch service.
If you have Supermarket experience and are familiar with operations or Scanning Coordinator processes, with a desire to learn more, this is an ideal position for you.
What You’ll Do:
- Provide training at customer sites for all levels of competency, from cashier to store owner.
- Receive feedback for system parameter adjustments and make those changes in production systems to ensure a smooth implementation.
- Utilize knowledge of supermarket operations to recommend process improvements to customers.
- Deliver excellent customer service to the end users we work with. Building long term relationships with the stores we serve is a main goal.
- Become a subject matter expert for various POS software products through training, research and documentation.
- Maintain a positive working relationship with multiple clients.
- Troubleshoot possible software issues, reporting bugs and enhancements.
- Partner with RDS’s vendors and suppliers for necessary additional support.
What You’ll Need:
- Supermarket experience – familiarity with the supermarket space translates to providing excellent training and support for a store.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
- Committed to working in a team environment.
- Ability to foresee problems and recommend solutions for a smooth implementation.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn, remain open to feedback, and be flexible.
- Decisive problem-solving skills with advanced listening and coping skills.
What Would Be A Plus:
