Job Description:

The Electronics Evaluator will be responsible for testing and repairing the individual condition of devices, appliances, equipment, and systems. They will test, build, and configure computers, tablets, smart devices and peripherals for the purpose of resell or internal use.

Duties and Essential Job Functions:

• Test products to ensure they are functional 
• Meet metrics for testing technological equipment 
• Replace internal components for a variety of devices 
• Make ready all technology devices for internal use or resell
• Maintain a clean, safe, and secure testing environment
• Organize and inventory all internal component supply
• Other supportive duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong knowledge of technology merchandise and valuation
• Beneficial to have experience repairing basic components of cell phones 
• Beneficial to have product knowledge with name brand merchandise, high-end electronics, such as laptops, tablets, headphones, routers, smartwatches, etc.
• Beneficial to have experience building and upgrading desktop computers 
• Knowledge of and ability to replace internal components for a variety of devices including PCs, Tablets, peripheral devices, printers, scanners and communications and security equipment
• Expert in the configuration and use of Windows, Mac, iOS and Android operating systems
• Proficient in the configuration and use of Smart Watches and Tablets
• Proficient in the use of data wiping software, Office Suite, Google Suite and ability to comprehend other proprietary and external software packages

Compensation:

• Starting window of pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour (based on experience)

Requirements

Working Conditions:

• Prolonged standing and/or sitting for duration of shift
• Potential use of merchandise equipment such as box cutters, bin containers, two-wheel dollies, and pallet jacks.
• Testing and repair environment in a warehouse setting
• Material handling of all technology and related equipment with carts and or pallet jacks
