Description
A Lubricant Delivery Agent’s primary function is to load and deliver lubricant products in bulk and package containers to commercial locations in a safe and efficient manner. The driver must be able to off load packages which requires lifting packages ranging in weight from 20 to 60 pounds each. The driver also must be able to handle 55-gallon drums ranging in weight from 450 pounds up to 600 pounds each. Job duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Drive safely and operate in accordance with all local, state, and federal laws as related to motor carrier safety regulations
- Load bulk and package trucks
- Unload products at customer locations in tanks or warehouses
- Maintain equipment according to company guidelines
- Maintain electronic driving logs
- Complete electronic Vehicle Inspection Report
- Maintains contact with dispatch team to receive loading and delivery instructions
- Communicates any customer needs to appropriate personnel
- Reports all accidents and injuries to supervisor
Requirements
To be considered for this position an applicant must possess the following minimum qualifications:
- 25 years old with at least 3 years driving experience
- Possess valid Class B CDL with Hazmat and Tank endorsement
- Clean driving record
- Able pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen
