- 2nd Shift 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM (Monday-Thursday)

As a Production Lead, you will manage the labor processes within departments to ensure production goals are met on a daily basis. Implement work instructions, cross-train employees, and ensure components meet quality standards.
Position Requirements:
- Maintain a safe, clean work environment; correct any unsafe conditions or behaviors
- Manage the labor processes within departments to ensure production goals are met on a daily basis
- Produce components and finished product to meet production needs and required stocking levels
- Sustain and maintain process improvements and accountability of employees
- Coordinate with Manufacturing Supervisor on employee scheduling, labor efficiency, work instructions, and throughput
- Collaborate with other leads and supervisors to facilitate cross-training opportunities; develop employee knowledge in multiple skill sets
- Implement work instructions to ensure employee knowledge and accuracy is up-to-date
- Ensure quality standards are followed and corrective action is taken to prevent future errors
- Responsible for monitoring and maintaining accurate inventory levels for all parts, working with Supply Chain and Production Control
- Conduct periodic inventory counts, as required; and implement corrective action to ensure accurate system inventory
- Communicate maintenance issues; repair/replace consumables as needed
- Serve as a positive leader and mentor by exhibiting and instructing desirable behaviors and skill sets
- Inspire, motivate, and lead others in utilizing Lean manufacturing tools to deliver results
- Organize materials at work station and department according to 6S standards
Education and Experience:
- Associate's degree in a manufacturing related field and one year of supervisory experience; or two or more years of supervisory experience
- Software experience: Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel, ERP Software
