What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Retreatia?
We are seeking a maintenance technician who is experienced and highly self-motivated. The position will require an individual who can execute quality work in a timely manner. This individual will need to interact on a daily basis in a professional and courteous manner with residents and other team members, be able to discuss maintenance issues clearly and have strong organizational skills to organize his/her workload, complete service requests, and meet with vendors.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, troubleshoot, and repair basic plumbing, leaks, electrical, audiovisual including WiFi troubleshooting, pool/spa, painting, and appliance issues in rental units and HOA properties
- Day to day care and upkeep of common areas for all rental and HOA properties to include snow and ice removal, basic landscaping, sweeping of exterior floors and walkways, and trash pickups. Perform repairs and maintenance of the community's common areas, grounds, and amenities
- Perform minor repairs in rental units including replacing light bulbs, smoke detectors and remote batteries
- Drywall, texture and patching skill a plus
- Respond to and ensure all work orders assigned are satisfactorily completed while maintaining accurate work orders
- Communicate and report maintenance issues to Supervisor and other team members
- May be required to participate in on-call rotation and ensure punctual response to on-call emergencies
- Work weekends, holidays, afternoons and on-call hours as required
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be extremely detailed with outstanding communication skills.
- Must have dependable transportation to and from work.
- Must have a valid Driver License, pass an MVR check and background check.
- At least one year of experience in a maintenance role preferred.
***MUST LIVE WITHIN 30 MILES OF STEAMBOAT SPRINGS TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR HIRE.
Pay range: $24 - $26 hour
