What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ambassador position at Retro Hospitality?
The Dairy Market is looking for individuals to join our team as Ambassadors. This position plays an important role in creating an exceptional customer experience at the market hall and gives you the opportunity to work in a fun and exciting environment!
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Smile, have fun and be energetic!
• Greet and assist customers with a friendly and positive attitude, making them feel welcome within the establishment.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the interior and exterior public areas, including the restrooms, dish room, and event space.
• Consistently empty the trash cans and remove any debris found inside and outside of the property.
• Properly clean food trays and dishes throughout the shift.
• Regularly perform a deep cleaning of restrooms, floors, and other common areas.
• Ensure all supplies and equipment are always cleaned, sanitized, and stored away.
• Monitor inventory, taking note of supplies and notifying management if additional stock is necessary.
• Demonstrate good safety and sanitation practices.
• Adhere to company uniform and grooming standards (uniform shirt and hat to be provided by Dairy Market).
• Report unsafe conditions to management.
• Properly handle and report associate/customer accidents.

• Ability to work a flexible work week including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift and carry at least 50 lbs.
• Basic understanding and ability to use computer/laptop.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous cleaning or facility maintenance experience is a plus.
• 1 to 2 years of previous customer service experience is a plus.
