Overview:
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facilities. This is a vital role in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for both employees and visitors.

Looking for individuals to clean in one location- Big Flats, NY

MONDAY - FRIDAY

2-3 hours per evening

Retterer and Sons Janitorial LLCResponsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is necessary
- Perform floor care tasks such as buffing, waxing, and polishing
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed
- Follow all safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Adhere to established cleaning schedules and ensure all assigned areas are cleaned thoroughly
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor promptly

Requirements:
- Previous experience in commercial or industrial cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of custodial practices and procedures
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and carpet cleaners
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Good communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors
