Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
Design and create complex reports and interactive dashboards including data visualizations using Qlik and/or similar BI products, and other reporting tools to support a broad range of business needs.
Acquire, validate, clean, and transform data in preparation for exploration and data analytics.
Recommend data organization techniques and methodologies.
Perform analysis based on large data sets to recommend and assist various business units in making strategic decisions.
Analyze and process data, build and maintain data models, and report templates.
Performs experimental design approaches to validate findings or test hypotheses.
Be proactive in monitoring customer, stakeholder and partner trends and determine if there are deep dive insight opportunities and to identify “why” we are seeing these trends.
Build, automate, and maintain complex SQL queries which compile data necessary for analysis of strategy effectiveness.
Ability to conceptualize business issues, formulates hypotheses, gather results, analyze data, and make appropriate recommendations for change.
Recommends ongoing improvements to methods and algorithms that lead to findings, including new information, metering data and the speed or sudden variations in data collection.
As needed/requested, provide ad-hoc research, analysis, and reports to various organizational business units.
Works in iterative processes to validate findings.
Presents and depicts the rationale of their findings in easy to understand terms for the business. Presents back results that contradict common belief, if needed.
Assist team members to solve client analytics problems and documents results and methodologies.
Participates in a team centric quality assurance process where peers review not only for report accuracy, but also fostering industry best practices and multiple approaches to end deliverables.
Identify gaps in data, including data anomalies, as well as data trends and communicate to the appropriate business units throughout the organization.
May educate the organization both from IT and the business perspectives on new approaches, such as testing hypotheses and statistical validation of results.
Participate and contribute in proof of concepts.
Acts as a resource for peers and counterparts with less experience.
Minimum Education and/or Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business or Data Analytics or Computer Science plus a minimum of 3 to 5 years relatable experience; or a minimum of 5 years’ experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
At least 4 years’ experience in architecting and developing in Qlik, Tableau, Power BI, or similar data visualization/ BI tools.
Desired: Advanced degree in Business or Data Analytics or Information Systems. Certification with BI Tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, etc.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Excel, and Word; Ability to create pivot tables, macros, with the use of lookup and logic functions.
Ability to analyze and solve practical problems, interpret procedures in written, oral, or flow diagrams to make sound decisions.
Customer centric with attention to detail.
Fast learner with the flexibility and desire to learn and perform a variety of tasks for multiple programs; open to suggestions and feedback.
Ability to understand data outputs from multiple systems and their dependencies.
Qlik domain or equivalent Power BI, Tableau certification/s.
Knowledge of development and scripting within Qlik inclusive of set analysis, aggregation functions, multi-dimensional objects, layout and design including visualization properties and formats.
Programming Python, R Programming, MS SQL - intermediate to advanced SQL skills inclusive of nested queries, regular expressions, and an understanding of how relational databases work.
Ability to conceptualize and write complex SQL statements/queries.
Experience with machine learning (inclusive of AI), natural language processing, graph/social network analysis, and simulation modeling.
Solid understanding of Data Modeling concepts (relational and dimensional).
Travel is required at 10% of the time.
