Scheduling:

Please note that the work shift will vary, it will probably start 8am-5pm for training and gradually move to off shift/afterhours work (i.e., 2nd or 3rd or weekend shifts or night maintenances as needed). This will be a 40-hour week

Computer:

· Familiarity with DCIM (cable mgmt. virtual tools) and ticketing tools. (ServiceNow preferable)

· Ability to maintain correspondence with customers regarding installation/project status

Fieldwork:

· Ability to install complete copper and fiber (Patching and infrastructure) circuits

· Ability to use and read Fluke instruments

· Ability to conduct and maintain inventory levels

· Ability to work with and install pre-terminated fiber solutions

· A level of computer knowledge a plus. Ability to identify and swap server components

· Familiarity with racking and stacking equipment (Routers/switches/servers)

· Familiar with terminations of 33, 66, 110 blocks up to 300 pair cable

Education

HS Diploma and/or equivalent degree in Trade or 5 year's experience

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

  • In-person
