Manager of Venue Operations, REV Sports Management

JOB SUMMARY: The Sports Management Manager of Venue Operations will be responsible for thought leadership and execution for venue operations, while supporting the REV Sports Management growing family of properties. The role will assist in developing strategies surrounding the design, construction and venue management for REV owned properties.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF POSITION INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

• Develop and implement strategy for current and future REV sports venues and surrounding developments

• Provide project management services for all major projects, including monitoring budget, creating project schedule, communicate status and act as department liaison for projects

• Ability to develop, communicate and monitor policies, procedure, and standards for partner venues and teams

• Ability to support (and lead when necessary) design and construction projects for small arenas, stadiums and other venues

• Develop budgets and financial plans for REV owned facilities

• Manage business operations for venues operated by REV

• Provide operational support to Vice President, Brand Team Operations

• Prepare, collaborate and coordinate all marketing materials and pitch decks for venue operations.

• Create and maintain weekly project status reports

• Understanding of staffing requirements for large public events, manages labor costs, makes labor cost projections, prepares work schedules, and assures adequate coverage for department

• Ability to assist with researching, writing, and maintaining bids for staffing, supplies and contracts in accordance with federal and state regulations. Expected to be able to perform this function independently as needed

• Travel as needed

• All other duties as assigned

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Role in venue operations for sports or entertainment facility

• Strong customer-service oriented and positive attitude

• Exceptional communication skills

• Exceptional multitasking and organizational ability

• Ability to work in tight deadlines

• Bachelor’s degree preferred

• Proficient in MS office, especially Excel and Word

• Must work well in a cross-functional team environment and possess strong interpersonal skills

• Motivated self-starter
