TITLE: Parts and Facilities Coordinator
LOCATION: Fort Lauderdale, Florida
JOB TYPE: Full-time
COMPENSATION: $16.00/hr
ABOUT REVA:
From marooned hikers to critically ill patients, Reva provides medical transport service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, worldwide. When patients need care that cannot be provided during normal travel or in the region they are currently in, they call REVA.
We transport patients under the guidance of our qualified medical crew consisting of Registered Flight Nurses, Paramedics, Respiratory Therapists, and Physicians on aircraft equipped for medical transport. Our fleet of fixed wing aircraft are approved by the FAA for medical emergency flights with life support equipment onboard.
Every air ambulance flight team is comprised of experienced air ambulance specialists who have undergone specialized training and are passionate about providing patients with the care they need.
In the medical transport industry, urgency, reliability and experience are absolutely critical. We have completed over 30,000 flights in 70 countries.
We hold our medical crew to a higher standard than the industry requires and this means our patients travel with highly competent, extensively trained medical teams in ICU configured Hawker and Lear Jets.
POSITION DUTIES:
- Performs stock and parts inventory checks, document, put stock/parts away
- Loads and unloads aircraft parts & components.
- Shipping and receiving of aircraft parts.
- Delivers parts between stockroom facilities and vendors as required.
- Performs janitorial duties such as cleaning, scrubbing, waxing, & polishing floors; washes and details aircraft, walls & ceiling; dusts furniture & fixtures; cleans hardware & kitchen, restrooms, & toilet fixtures; washes windows; cleans sidewalks & parking lot & removes trash.
- Operates a variety of power driven equipment such as floor scrubbers, floor sanders, waxers, and wall washers; adjusts brushes, buffers, and other attachments on machines; uses wax, polish, and other protective agents appropriate for the various surfaces; washes aircraft, from ladders and scaffolding.
- Performs general laboring duties such as uncrating and assembling furniture and fixtures using bolts and screws for assembly, loading and unloading supplies and equipment.
- Assist mechanics as necessary and performs all other stockroom functions as dictated by maintenance management.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Basic computer skills & data entry.
- Valid Florida driver license required.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Work flexible hours, shifts and days off.
- Aviation Maintenance background preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Stand, stoop, bend, and stretch for long periods of time and to manually lift and carry objects weighing 50 pounds or more, without assistance.
- Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening to meet requirements for Drug Free Workplace. Applicants must also be a U.S. citizen or have permanent resident alien status.
