What You'll Do Here

As a Project Manager at RVCM, you serve the project teams and drive successful delivery of milestones and products. Your scope encompasses a variety of tasks like strategic program development, proposal writing, opportunity mining, customer coordination, customer service, project management, program and project reporting, program and project marketing, budgeting, time management, and more.

  • Responsible for managing software products, leading successful execution and delivery
  • Project responsibility through the full lifecycle: initiate, plan, execute, control, close
  • Maintain the project management plan, customer requirements, project schedule, and other documentation required to effectively manage program deliverables
  • Network with all relevant project stakeholders and resources, including customers, internal shared service groups, subcontractors, and vendors, to meet project goals
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and review project deliverables
  • Support implementation of SOWs and contracts
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs
  • Implement approved actions to mitigate project risk events
  • Identify opportunities for process and quality improvements that promote cost reduction and implement initiatives, and monitor the effectiveness of changes made
  • Measure project performance and use appropriate tools and techniques to monitor the progress of the project, identify and quantify any variances (scope/costs), perform any required corrective actions, and communicate results to all stakeholders
  • Assist in change control process including tracking, writing scope documents, and gathering estimates and pricing
  • Identify and track risks, including implementing the approved actions and workarounds required to mitigate project risk events to minimize the probability of realization
  • Execute the tasks defined in the project plan and schedule to meet customer deliverables
  • Prepare and present internal and external reports on program status, risks, and other program-related issues

What You'll Bring to the Team

  • Minimum, four (4) years of experience managing technical projects related to DevOps, Software Development, Software Engineering, QA, or other related field
  • Demonstrated success in a relevant project, program, or product management role
  • Demonstrated success working in an Agile environment
  • Able to manage multiple, conflicting priorities and work in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to present technical and functional information to a cross-functional group of internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization with varying levels of technical proficiency
  • A track record of leading project delivery for a large, multi-functional project portfolio
  • Deep strategic and technical knowledge related to software development, DevOps, CyberSecurity, data management, etc
  • Strong critical thinking with outstanding analytical, influencing, and interpersonal skills
  • Able to achieve results in an ambiguous environment
  • Collaborative, flexible, open working style and an ability to establish trust and credibility quickly
  • Technical skills required to discuss and strategize with DevOps Leads, Product Engineers, Software Engineers, and Cybersecurity Leads
  • High level of understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and UI/UX Development Life Cycle to bring a robust, attractive, intuitive, and useful product to launch
