Position:
As an Insurance Supervisor you will directly supervise 2-4 Senior Insurance Reps and indirectly supervise 15-25 Insurance Representatives.
You will have the opportunity to conduct interviews and make hiring decisions, as well as working with the Trainer on special needs and training of both new and long-term employees. You will also create and conduct 120-day evaluations, annual reviews, and performance improvement plans.
Responsibilities:
- Assists manager in the operations of the Insurance department with focus on the supervision and coordination of duties of the Insurance Representatives
- Supervises team productivity and directs workflow through Senior Insurance Representatives to ensure inventory is handled according to client specifications/contracts.
- Manages productivity quality standards processes and reports; implements tracking and trending, looking for ways to improve.
- Provides team status reports to manager on a weekly basis or as needed.
- Monitors employees work time and address problems such as tardiness or absenteeism
- Informs manager of attendance issues.
- Handles daily team issues, identifies, and elevates unresolved issues and problems concerning the team to manager.
- Manages or performs on the job training (OJT), coaching, one-on-one sessions ensuring completion and documentation is done timely.
- Assists management with annual performance reviews.
- Works with Employee Services in the hiring and selection process; scheduling and conducting interviews and making hiring decisions.
- Coordinates new hire training with Employee Services, Trainer, and Senior Insurance Representatives.
- Encourages a positive work environment by motivating and engaging team members.
- Responsible for identifying the need for and conducting counseling, disciplining or termination of Insurance Representatives.
- Corresponds with clients to clarify processes as needed.
- Identifies opportunities for system improvements and resolves problems.
Hours:
Monday-Friday 8:00a-7:00p and rotating Saturdays from 8:00a-12:00p once a month.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2 or more years of experience applying knowledge of commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care reimbursement guidelines
- 2 or more years of experience in a supervisor or leadership position in a related healthcare field
- 2 years of experience in a hospital/physician's office preferred
- Ability to lead others effectively
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- High school diploma/GED

Pay: $39,520.00 - $49,920.00 per year
