Appian Developer@ Irving TX

An Appian Developer experience with the DevOps background is responsible for the architect & design the Appian Applications and design recommendations from Appian are followed, along with previous experience in implementing continuous delivery and DevOps solutions.

What you’ll do
• Be responsible for Application architecture, design & development.
• Work with Client to setup COE to establish best practices.
• Work with business to translate the functional requirement to Appian business flows with the help of Process Models, Rules, CDTs, and Web service Integration.
• Be involved in getting requirements, designing for them, and mapping the same to business processes.
• Possess sound knowledge of cloud-based environments.
• Experience in handling automated deployment CI/CD tools.
• Must possess excellent knowledge of infrastructure automation tools.
• Must have strong expertise in operating different environments and scripting languages.
• Ability to review deployment and delivery pipelines i.e., implement initiatives to minimize chances of failure, identify bottlenecks and troubleshoot issues.
• Previous experience in implementing continuous delivery and DevOps solutions.
• Experience in designing and building solutions to move data and process it.
• Must possess expertise in any of the coding languages depending on the nature of the job.
• Work with system owners, technical teams, and functional teams to design, implement, test, and validate a system.
• Work with business analysts to understand desired system requirements and write functional and technical specifications.
• Help in identifying the non-functional requirements, technical debt in existing applications and work with team to cover those
• Perform code reviews, test case reviews, deployment reviews.
• Review estimate the level of effort required.
• Setup coding, testing and delivery best practices

What you’ll bring
• 6 years of experience: Hands-on experience with a Process model, SAIL, Expression Rules, Integration; experience in designing and developing integrations with 3rd party system; and experience in DB management.
• Knowledge: sound knowledge of best practices suggested by Appian in designing the solutions; knowledge of Agile Scrum and tools like JIRA; CDT Expert on designating the reports and develop those using Appian Understand the rules
• Hands on in Dev ops tools Jenkins, Docker's container, OpenShift, Harvest, GIT, Gradle.
• Good to have exposure to other BPM or low code tools and technologies like RPA, Pega, Nintex etc.
• Excellent communication and client interaction experience
