Who You Are and What You’ll Do
As a Senior Financial Analyst and key member of Revel’s Finance team, you will have the opportunity to engage in financial planning, strategic analysis, reporting and will advise your business partners and influence decisions that have a real impact on Revel’s strategy and P&L. Working closely with senior leaders across all aspects of our business, you’ll drive planning processes, understand key drivers and identify critical performance metrics. You will analyze variances and trends, and make recommendations to ensure Revel meets its financial objectives. You will report to the Director of Finance. This position requires strong analytical, technical and interpersonal skills.
You have an analytical mind with a bias for action and ongoing improvement. You have exceptional analytical, technical and interpersonal skills and bring deep experience with building financial models, budgets and forecasts, creating impactful presentations and know your way around Excel. You thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment and are comfortable working across a wide range of projects and functional areas (finance, strategy, data/analytics). You are resourceful - you take the initiative to drive projects forward with little support and work through problems independently using internal and external resources.
Responsibilities
- Improve and maintain Revel’s multi-year forecast financial model
- Maintain the ongoing operations of the financial model including tracking projections to actuals on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis and highlighting trends and insights
- Work with the budget owners to build out Revel’s budget - liaise with department heads to work through all assumptions
- Elevate the visibility, tracking and transparency of budgets across the company through a number of process improvement initiatives
- Support strategic initiatives by analyzing new business opportunities; provide ad-hoc scenario analysis support including cost/benefit analysis
- Assist in compiling analyses and high-impact presentation materials for board of directors and investors
- Own reporting processes with select partnerships, ensuring a high quality standard
- Work closely with Accounting team to assist in monthly close process
Requirements
- 4 years of relevant experience, ideally in finance, consulting or business intelligence
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills, detail-oriented and proficient in building and handling financial models, analyses and budgets
- Exceptional Excel and presentation building skills
