What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Development Executive position at Revenue Hire?
You must have desire or prior success selling advertising to small to medium size companies in a competitive market with a small to mid-range sales cycle.
You must have a successful track record in achieving business revenue goals. You must get fired up about new sales opportunities. Thick skin is a must.
You must excel at finding and closing new opportunities. You must have prior success building a territory from scratch.
You enjoy getting out and about on the weekend and love being in the know of what’s happening in your city.
You must have consultative selling skills, excellent listening, analytical and problem solving skills as well as strong closing skills. You should have excellent communication skills. You must have strong referral relationship building skills.
You should be a self starter, memorable, energetic, highly motivated, goal oriented, passionate, a high achiever and a hard worker. You should be able to work with limited supervision but want to be part of a high-achieving team.
- A 2 year track record of success in a sales environment
- Experience building a territory from scratch and thinking outside the box is a must.
- Experience selling to or working with local businesses
- Lead Generation experience is a must.
- Being flexible/adaptable and having experience working in a small growing business is a must.
- Experience with selling digital advertising is a plus
- Experience prospecting/selling via telephone is required.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel as needed.
- Must have passion to promote events and your ideal weekend is spent out and about doing things. You love being in the know of what’s happening in your city.
- You must have a strong desire to be earning $100,000 within 2 years.
- Compensation: Compensation is base commissions. No cap.
- Localite Media owns and operates websites that are a leading source of information on entertainment, family fun, restaurant deals, special events, and other things to do in the city. They currently serve 5 areas: Houston, Austin, Dallas Forth Worth, San Antonio and Boston with plans to expand to other cities.

Pay: Up to $90,000.00 per year

- Monday to Friday
