Job Summary:
The General Manager oversees the daily operation of the dispensary, handling the needs of all customers, and developing a professional team that is invested and passionate about cannabis. This position requires a strong, experienced leader who will invest in, grow, train, and develop a team to provide exceptional service to our customers. The GM will work closely with the Executive Management Team to ensure the dispensary’s sound recordkeeping and compliance with local and state regulations. Promotion potential to the Operations Manager for all dispensary locations.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Managing the daily activities in the dispensary.
- Dispensary inventory management and pricing.
- Training and managing dispensary staff.
- Processing staff requests to management.
- Scheduling and timekeeping management.
- Product acquisitions.
- Keeping statistical and financial records of dispensary revenue.
- Prepare for and handle all regulatory inspections and compliance audits.
- Ensure all staff is trained in safety protocols.
- High level knowledge of vendors, products, strains, and trends to continue to grow the business.
- Delegate, Coach, Empower.
Qualifications:
- Education and work experience –
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of solid operations management experience.
- Expertise in all Cannabis related verticals from cultivation to sale.
- Knowledge and skills -
- Must have integrity and high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential issues.
- Flexibility and creativity with finding solutions.
- Exceptional ability to build relationships.
- Superior communication skills to include listening, verbal, written and presentation skills.
- Successful track record with being a team player as well as building, leading, and motivating teams.

Requirements –
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a current Marijuana Establishment Agent Registration Card.
- Able to successfully pass an extensive background check.
