We're looking for a seriously badass Director of Sales to join our team and lead our Sales team! As a Sales Director, your primary responsibility is to lead and develop your sales team to achieve their maximum potential. This involves providing mentorship, guidance, and support to your sales representatives, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence within the team, and ensuring alignment with the company's overall sales strategy and objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership to the sales team, setting clear goals, expectations, and performance standards to drive results.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and company objectives, aligning sales activities with overall business goals.
  • Sales Forecasting and Budgeting: Forecast sales targets and budgets, monitor performance against targets, and adjust strategies as needed to meet or exceed objectives.
  • Sales Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and optimize the sales process to improve efficiency, productivity, and effectiveness, leveraging technology and best practices to streamline workflows.
  • Sales Performance Analysis: Analyze sales data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, using insights to inform decision-making and drive performance.
  • Sales Training and Development: Provide training, coaching, and professional development opportunities to sales team members to enhance their skills, knowledge, and capabilities.
  • Market Analysis and Strategy Development: Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth and competitive positioning, developing strategies to capitalize on market trends and customer preferences.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, product development, and customer service to ensure alignment of sales efforts with overall business objectives and customer needs.
  • Performance Reporting and Accountability: Prepare and present regular sales reports and updates to senior management, providing visibility into sales performance, key metrics, and progress towards goals, while holding the sales team accountable for results.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of sales management experience, preferably in the SaaS/tech industry.
  • Coaching and leadership skills that will inspire your team to greatness.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Deep understanding of sales processes and methodologies and a track record of driving growth.
  • Familiarity with sales automation and lead management tools.
  • Ability to forecast using methodology and can report on expectations for sales teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, focusing on results and continuous improvement.
