ReVisionz, a leader in asset & process safety information management, is seeking an experienced Content Enrichment / Migration Consultant to join our team. As a Dashboard Consultant at ReVisionz, your role revolves around utilizing Extract/Transform/Load (ETL) procedures and solutions to facilitate the enhancement and migration of engineering data and files. This is crucial to establish a repository of high-quality information that supports the smooth operation of asset-intensive facilities. A vital component of this process is the comprehensive reporting of extraction, transformation/enrichment, and migration/loading, ensuring adherence to specifications and securing business approval.

In this capacity, you will collaborate closely with the Content Assessment and ETL Technical teams, as well as business information stakeholders, to effectively cater to reporting requirements. Your expertise lies in generating extensive reports in the context of ETL initiatives. Additionally, you will leverage cutting-edge dashboard technology to present ETL-related data through user-friendly graphical interfaces, ensuring easy consumption of information. • Primary responsibility is to design, configure and operate ETL reporting solutions to ensure that enrichment and migration processes have the details necessary to achieve actions effectively.
• Reporting solutions are designed, architected and developed to expeditiously identify ETL issues and see the rest of the ETL team with the business can address them.
• The reporting methods are designed to efficiently process highly specialized extraction of data sets from source SQL/Oracle databases, and such other basic source as fileshares, Access and XL.
• The reporting solutions manipulate large volumes of complex information to present detailed results on the information being processed in ETL.
• Reporting solutions are developed to identify the flow of migration from sources through the various ETL stages to the destination software.
• Multiple filter methods are incorporated into the reporting solutions with which users can easily focus on problem cases.
• The volumes at times can be in the order of millions of records with hundreds of millions of metadata – the reporting solutions are architected and developed to process results in fast timelines, and to present results expeditiously.
• QA/QC methods are employed to ensure the reports are 100% accurate. As part of this, cross check methods are enabled to use alternate means to confirm report information.
• Liaise with source system information owners and technical staff, and with destination system technical staff, is necessary to establish means to extract information from the respective systems.
• The reporting solutions provide ETL performance details as the basis for establishing business acceptance criteria by the ETL test team, in terms of their use of the reports to accept enrichment and migration success.
• Daily, periodic by stage and monthly progress reports are provided.
• Leading dashboard software such as PowerBI are applied for presentation. Strong GUI design skills are essential to guide the report development.

• College specialization in computer coding or bachelor’s in computer science.
• Oracle and SQL database skills by which to efficiently process data held in those databases.
• Strong background in data dashboard development based on using PowerBI technology.
• Web report presentation development background using such software as SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and/or .NET.
• Extensive skills in the use of SQL for query, reporting and analysis.
• Strong background in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), C and .NET coding.
• Dashboard software development skills on leading dashboard software.
• Background in migration reporting processes and ETL tools.
• GUI background on web report presentation to facilitate ease of use by end users.
• Experience in collection, analysis, sorting, organizing, classifying, validating and uploading large quantities of engineering records.
• Background in engineering projects/engineering information management.
• Background in documenting existing systems functions (flow charts on how transactions flow, details on transaction processes, etc.), particularly in regard to ETL reporting solutions.
• Track record in effectively being able to understand issues and work them to resolution across multiple parties – key is full migration success which demands effective decision making capabilities to understand and resolve issues.
