Job Overview

As the Full Charge Bookkeeper at Revolin Sports, you gain invaluable experience handling all of the accounting needs of a rapidly growing, VC backed company. In this role you will report directly to the CEO and be responsible for the following:

• Maintain the accuracy of the general ledger

• Reconcile monthly bank statements

• Manage the full cycle of accounting activities for the company including monthly and quarterly financial reports

• Work with accountant to provide requested information to complete annual taxes

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable

• Collate and enter vendor expenses

• Manage payroll and process employee timesheets.

• Perform other financial related duties for events and activities as needed or assigned

• Update Quarterly Budget, Chart of Account, Items, and/or Class Codes as needed or requested in Quickbooks

And your qualifications are:

• Experience in a bookkeeping role or in-depth finance and accounting knowledge

• Strong organizational skills to manage the general ledger, expenses, and payroll

• Great listening and communication skills, both verbally and written

• Experience preparing financial statements

• Ability to run accounting software, spreadsheets, and word processing software

• Experience with Quickbooks, Intuit or similar softwares

• Creativity, critical thinking, adaptability, and drive to solve problems in a start-up atmosphere

• Ability to create processes and protocols for financial planning and management

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficient in Cloud-based data access and sharing software such as Google Drive, Slack, SquareUp, PayPal, Shopify, and Microsoft Word and Excel

• Knowledge of inventory management systems

• ERP software management experience

• Venture backed startup experience

• Data analysis skills

• A passion for pickleball and entrepreneurship

Time/Location/Compensation Expectations

This will be a part-time position of 10-15 hrs per week with opportunity for growth. Compensation ranges from $15.5 - $18 per hour depending on experience. In general, Revolin offers a flexible, hybrid work model where you can work anywhere, at any time, as long as you get your work done. There will be 1-2 days/week we will work together in person and you will attend regular team meetings (although these can often be attended virtually).
