Job Brief

We are looking for a Videographer/Editor who feels energized working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The most important qualification for this full-time position is the ability to work directly with clients and own projects from start to finish. We are looking for someone with a creative background, strong cinematography skills, and editing proficiency. This position works directly with clients to create explainer videos, product videos, and highlight videos for live events. This position reports directly to the video producer and creative director.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Establish a direct line of communication with the client
  • Ideate video ideas and write scripts
  • Oversee production from start to finish
  • Film and assist with lighting
  • Manage post-production workflow, including editing
  • Setup and run A/V for live events
  • Assist social media team in producing short-form content
Competencies

  • Storytelling skills and an understanding of the creative process
  • Attention to detail and a high level of professionalism/work ethic
  • Ability to honestly and accurately scope projects
  • Oversight of the entire video production process: brainstorming, storyboarding, script writing, filming, and editing
  • A strong desire to learn and grow within the field
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment and take feedback
  • Knowledge of all the Adobe CC suite
  • Work well with other departments (i.e. Marketing, Sales, etc.)
  • Manage a small team of videographers (in the future)

Requirements

  • 5 years of combined experience in shooting and editing
  • Reel or portfolio showing a wide range of skills
  • College degree preferred, but not required
