What are the responsibilities and job description for the Reporting Analyst position at RevSpring Inc?
The Reporting Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the company's Analytics organization. It is preferred that the candidate lives near a RevSpring corporate office (Newark OH, Oaks PA, Nashville TN, Livonia MI, Ann Arbor MI, Arden Hills MN, or Phoenix AZ) and can occasionally commute to the office post pandemic. The analyst will work closely with a team of data scientists, data visualization developers, data analysts, and data engineers. We are looking for a candidate that has a start-up mentality and is comfortable rolling up their sleeves and learning new technology based on the business’ changing demands. Job Functions
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Maintain existing client reports and build dashboards for new clients.
- Perform exploratory data analysis and data pre-processing to arrive at patterns and trends.
- Perform root cause analyses to provide "next-level" insights on key business questions.
- Effectively communicate reporting results to stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Professional or classwork experience in at least one programming language.
An ideal candidate will have the following qualities:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field with a 3.0 minimum GPA
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with a dashboard tool such as: Tableau, Sisense, Power BI, etc.
- A natural sense of curiosity, and an effective problem solver
- A quantitative whiz who loves data
- Self-sufficient, ready to roll up your sleeves, and not afraid of ambiguity
- Demonstrated analytical skills with accuracy and thoroughness – must be extremely detail oriented
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment handling multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines
