Personal Care Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for our clients by assisting with daily activities and ensuring their well-being. Duties: - Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, and dressing - Assist with mobility and transfers - Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals - Monitor and record vital signs - Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding - Support clients with behavioral management and emotional well-being - Provide companionship and engage in meaningful activities - Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients - Accompany clients to appointments or outings as needed Skills: - Previous experience in caregiving, senior care, or related field is preferred - Knowledge of behavior management techniques and strategies - Familiarity with assisted living and dementia care practices - Ability to provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities - Proficient in taking vital signs accurately - Valid driver's license with a clean driving record We offer competitive pay rates and flexible scheduling options.
