The position of National Solar Sales Manager will be based out of our Fall River, MA location!

Summary

The National Solar Sales Manager is responsible for promoting National sales success and profitability with auditing transactions or sales opportunities to confirm accuracy and achieve topline sales and margin goals. Provide the entire solar team and branch sales teams with guidance, support in sales, marketing and inventory management.


What You’ll Do

  • Responsible for National sales success and profitability- audit sales for accuracy, design and implement processes and strategies for optimal performance to company goals
  • Collaborate with manufacturers to negotiate pricing, product availability, and manage inventory levels
  • Develop, manage and improve internal Standard Operations Procedures (SOP’s) related to sales and inventory management
  • Lead or support team marketing strategies through digital and in person avenues
  • Support Sales and Procurement staff with requests above their allowed access or knowledge while adhering to company policies
  • Implement and promote company objectives or strategies with the employees
  • Support, educate and guide branch sales staff and management to promote solar & energy storage to their customers
  • Track incentives and rebates nationally
  • Provide ongoing training and development to Rexel Energy Solutions (RES) Sales Force and Support Teams on the components of Photovoltaic (PV) systems
  • Partner with RES Outside Sales Executives to shape the strategic priorities and influence leadership to drive their vision, engage their teams, and success of a designated sales region
  • Perform trainings, sales presentations, and demonstrations to our Energy Service company (ESCO) and electrical contractor network and prospects
  • Create growth-oriented sales plans for RES ESCO and electrical contractor network
  • Collaborate with team to design PV systems and build kitted systems (example 50kw,75kw,100kw etc.)
  • Responsible for coordinating with Battery Energy Storage system (BESS) specialist to collaborate on integration of BESS solutions and solar PV
  • Design and develop a training program for both new hire staff and ongoing development
  • Be involved in account management and sales on incoming new opportunities and as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

What You’ll Need

  • High School or GED
  • 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree Preferred
  • 7 years of sales experience
  • 3 years of solar experience
