The Supply Chain Coordinator will support the commodity manager to execute commodity strategies, support operation excellence, Climate Solutions' growth and innovation needs.Provides tactical support for commodity management to facilitate products and services delivered to the quality, cost, and delivery performance levels required by Climate Solutions. Ensures all engineering, customer, security, and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) requirements are met.- Prepares Request for Quote (RFQ) packages, develops and analyzes spreadsheets as needed.
- Provides recommendations on supplier selection and quality compliance.
- With direction, set up sourcing rules, and input price in system to support manufacturing team.
- Maintain suppliers information in system and price update to reflect changing business conditions.
- Initiate PPAP in system to support production on schedule and quality conformance.
- Resolve invoice price discrepancies and make corrective action to avoid future issues reoccurring.
- Analyze data to identify issues, opportunities and to produce effective solutions while executing special projects as assigned.
- Monitor supplier performance data, alert commodity manager to underperforming suppliers and/or opportunities for supplier reduction, customer fill rate improvements.
- Bachelor degree preferred. High school diploma with minimum of 3 years experience
- Relevant experience in sourcing, supply chain or in a manufacturing environment
- Must have RFQ / quoting experience
- Intermediate user of excel
- Experience with an ERP system, e.g. Oracle R12, BI
