Position Summary:  

The Apprentice position is designed for individuals who are interested in gaining firsthand experience in manufacturing fields such as electrical and autonomous controls, engineering, quality, maintenance, production, etc. This position is focused on developing the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in many roles within manufacturing. The Apprentice collaborates with experienced team members and has the opportunity to learn about various aspects of the company's manufacturing operations.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to: 

• Perform projects and duties as assigned by their manager
• Meet/exceed project deliverables and deadlines
• Develop technical expertise and business knowledge by seizing opportunities to learn
• Take ownership of assigned projects
• Other projects or duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience: 

• 0 to 1 plus years of technical experience
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work with tools and machinery
• Excellent follow-up skills
• Ability to complete assignments/projects
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Organizational skills
• Detail oriented
• Good problem solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Excel, Power Point, Word)
• This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test

Preferred Skills and Experience: 

• HS Diploma/GED
• Pursuing an Associate’s degree from a Technical School
• Vocational Certification
