Position Summary:
This position is responsible for promoting safety programs and services within the organization. This position is responsible for initiating and implementing safety and prevention programs and coordinating claims management activities and managing/evaluating programs that encourage the organization, team members and their families to focus on healthy living and safe work promotion.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
- Accountable for implementing and delivering results of corporate and company safety and risk management initiatives
- Analyze and interpret risk data to identify work with opportunities and injury/collision prevention focus
- Manage Safety Committee activity/meetings for business units supported
- Conduct safety meetings with key employees and management
- Conduct risk assessments of location campus, warehouse and risk issues identified in the trade. Review recommendations to mitigate identified risks with Regional Safety Manager to align
- Lead safety component of New Hire orientation and training
- Conduct training for managers, supervisors and employees
- Conduct training needs assessments and recommend training opportunities; oversee monthly safety training for business
- Accountable for the execution of safety training for business unit supported
- Lead management in the Investigation of workplace injuries and collisions
- Work with IDM/LCM and TPA to aide in managing claims to closure
- Lead management and HC on modified duty assignments and the interactive process at the direction of the IDM team
- Coordinate and participate in all WC and AL claim reviews
- Participate in weekly steering team meetings
- After hours on-call - available to flex work time to support organization
- Other projects or duties as assigned
Salary : $71,421 - $89,276
