If you are looking to build a strong career, we have an opportunity for you! We are searching for a Manager, Social Compliance to join our team located at our headquarters in Lake Forest, IL.
Your Role:
The Ethical and Social Compliance Manager is responsible for promoting practices and supporting policies that respectfully and properly value human beings in the workplace. The role will have oversite to monitoring, assessing, and improving social compliance performance across Reynolds sites; it will support the RCP Experience of a unique culture with a common purpose of respect, team-work, and ethical behavior. You will have the opportunity to:
- Develop and implement internal standards across manufacturing facilities.
- Create a scorecard and audit standards for facilities, to achieve best-in-class social compliance management.

Construct standard training and awareness for use across Reynolds manufacturing facilities.
- Training will reflect awareness within our company and our communities.
- Create regular reporting reflecting on the health of the Social Compliance program, and recommendations to achieve continuous improvement.

Prepare facilities for Social Compliance Audits.
- Participate in audits to guide and assist with closing findings.
- Develop audit protocol for vetting and managing providers of contract labor and temp agencies.
- Investigate and address instances of non-compliance and unethical practices by our facilities and their suppliers.
- Monitor industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to Social Compliance.
- Develop and provide training and guidance to employees on social compliance principles, labor laws, and ethical sourcing practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams including procurement, operations, sourcing, legal, and HR to integrate social compliance into business practices.
- Participate as needed in cross-functional teams and projects related to corporate social responsibility and supply-chain risk management.

We need you to have:
- BA/BS degree in relevant fields such as Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Social Sciences.
- 5 years of related professional and progressive social compliance, corporate social responsibility, or related fields.
- Practical experience of implementing social compliance practices in a manufacturing environment.
- 2 years prior team management experience combined with a proven record of accomplishment developing, coaching, and mentoring a diverse workforce.
- Strong relatable and engaging communication skills with the ability to translate issues into actionable and practical steps in a manufacturing environment.
- Data analysis and the ability to present information in meaningful format, leading to decision making.
- A bias towards action, directed towards achieving a higher vision.
- Strong understanding of ETI and ILO standards, human rights principles, and ethical sourcing practices.
- Experience in conducting social compliance audits and assessments, including familiarity with audit methodologies and tools.
- Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities and multiple internal customers.
- Strong analytical skills and organizational skills.
- A commitment to excellence and continuous improvement with experience in various Continuous improvement Processes and initiatives (i.e. 5S, Value Streams, Six Sigma, TPM)
- Solid project management capabilities with the ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously from origin through execution.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule during key business deadlines.
- Must be team oriented with the ability to work on high collaboration and performance teams.
- Ability to travel 50% of the time.
Icing on the cake:
- MBA or other advanced degree.
- Experience in both union and non-union environments.
